Cotswold Villages

About

A full day guided tour (max 15 guests) to explore some of the most stunning Cotswold villages, towns and hamlets and to learn about the amazing history of this beautiful part of England. Price £70.

Castle Combe Village

Voted the prettiest village in England. An idyllic Cotswold village nestling in a wooded valley.
This has been a movie and historical drama film location for: Stardust; Warhorse; Poirot; as well as the original Dr. Dolittle.

Time to wander around the cobbled streets and take in the view from the medieval market cross.

Relax by the stream in front of the picture postcard weaver’s cottages.

Discover the medieval clock in St Andrews church and the 13th Century tomb of Sir Walter de Dunstanville.

Bibury & Arlington Row

Considered the most beautiful village in England by William Morris, leading arts and crats designer.

See Cotswold architecture at its best at the picturesque Arlington Row, built in the 14th century.

Wander through the water meadows locally known as Rack Isle, where the woven Cotswold cloth would have been laid out to dry.

Time to wander around this pretty village with its 17th century thatched pub.

Leaving Bibury you will travel through the tiny backroads following the river Coln, through some of the most unspoilt English countryside.

In our comfortable minicoach you can see above the hedges and dry stone walls.

Bourton on the Water

Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds with its 5 quaint  stone bridges over the meandering River Windrush.

Charming cottages and independent shops.

Pretty village green where you can relax and watch the ducks swim by.

Quintessentially English.

Stow-on-the-Wold - Lunch Stop

Stow on the Wold is the lunch location.

Time to explore this traditional Cotswold market town and historical centre of the woollen trade.

In the market square you will see the medieval cross, town stocks and ancient elm tree.

Plenty of independent shops, inns and cafes to enjoy.

Malmesbury Abbey & Market Cross

Your chance to see the burial place of Athelstan the first king of England.

Visit the elaborately carved market cross - one of the best preserved in England.
