About

New for 2026, sep onboard the Pick-a-Pumpkin Express!

Step aboard Bristol and Bath's slowest express train, hauled by one of Avon Valley Railway's heritage locomotives. Your journey starts at Bitton Station, where you'll enjoy a trip along the line before heading towards Avon Riverside Station. Here you can alight the train and choose a pumpkin to bring back with you.

At Bitton Station, you can head to the canopy if you'd like to do some pumpkin painting and decorating. We'll also have some spooky characters onboard the train, but don't worry, there are only treats, no tricks, onboard our Pick-a-Pumpkin Express!

This event is suitable for all the family – including younger children.
