About

Forget fields of gold; the paddock is about to turn into a field of orange!

Bring your little farmers along to help choose the perfect pumpkin. Enjoy free carving and painting with any pumpkin purchase, and keep the mess in the paddock instead of in your kitchen.

All activities will be subject to weather and availability. If there is heavy rain or wind, the farm will have to close temporarily.

There will also be lantern making on the 29 and 30 October, for an extra cost.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

What's happening?

There'll be plenty going on across the farm throughout the day, including:

  • Pumpkin picking and decorating – free carving and painting with every pumpkin purchase
  • Pumpkin trail – find the hidden pumpkins, unjumble the letters to find our secret word and get a sweet treat!
  • Harvest-themed games
  • Beautiful photo opportunities to capture special family moments
  • Marshmallow toasting around the fire

Plus plenty more to discover around the farm.

It's a relaxed, family-friendly day, so come along, explore the farm and enjoy a proper celebration of the harvest season.

Tickets

  • Online: £2pp
  • On the gate: £3pp
  • Under 2s go free

Tickets are non-refundable unless Hartley Farm is unable to open due to extreme weather conditions. In the case that Hartley Farm deems the weather unsuitable to open, they will transfer your ticket to another day.

Autumn food & drink

There'll be plenty to eat and drink while you're here too, with seasonal treats available around the farm alongside everything you'd usually find in the Farm Shop and Kitchen. It's also a great time of year to explore the shop, with autumn produce from the farm and our local suppliers filling the shelves.
