Innovative orchestral project uniting two ancient music traditions

Sinfonia Cymru is Wales' orchestra of young talent, adynamic collective of professional musicians all aged under 30, from Wales and around the world.

In this exciting cross-cultural collaboration, they join British singer Ana Silvera, Palestinian Oud virtuoso Saied Silbak and Welsh musician Patrick Rimesfor a new and expanded version of Songs We Carry, an acclaimed performance exploring thee motive, melancholy of Ladino(Judeo-Spanish) music and the rich Maqams and intricate melodies of Arabic song. At the heart of this collaboration is Ana and Saied's deep kinship, both as friends and musical minds, showing Palestinian and Jewishunity and solidarity in action.
