New for 2026, Bowood House and Gardens is delighted to offer children the opportunity to learn how to use a bow and arrow and take aim at the target (not each other!).

Delivered by Aim on the Plain, this exciting activity teaches children the basics of handling a bow and arrow while putting their skills to the test on a range of targets. With guidance and support from experienced instructors, each child will have the chance to fire up to 12 arrows and see how close they can get to the bullseye.

All participants will receive a full safety briefing from a trained instructor before the session begins. As this is a physical activity, parents and guardians should ensure their child understands the risks involved. Parents are welcome to watch or take part alongside their child; however, children must not be left unattended at the activity.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
