New for 2026, Bowood House and Gardens is delighted to offer children the opportunity to test their skills and reach new heights on a portable climbing wall.

Led by the Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team, this exciting activity helps children develop new climbing skills, build confidence, and challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Whether they are complete beginners or enthusiastic climbers, participants will enjoy the opportunity to get active outdoors and see how high they can climb.

All participants will receive a full safety briefing from trained instructors before the activity begins. As this is a physical activity, parents and guardians should ensure their child understands the risks involved. Parents are welcome to watch or take part alongside their child; however, children must not be left unattended at the activity.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
