About

Build a solid, practical foundation in screen printing over two engaging evening sessions in this Beginner's Screenprinting workshop. This hands-on course will give you the confidence to create professional-quality prints and bring your ideas to life using a range of techniques.

Working in a print studio environment, you'll learn how to transfer your own designs onto silkscreens and experiment with different creative approaches. Alongside fellow participants, you'll explore drawing and image-making techniques to develop bold, colourful designs ready for print.

Over the two evenings, you'll be introduced to the full screen-printing process, from preparing your artwork and creating stencils, to setting up your dedicated silk screen and printing your designs. With step-by-step guidance, you'll gain experience using essential tools and equipment while building your skills in a supportive group setting.

By the end of the course, you'll have produced a series of your own original prints, suitable for personal use or sale, along with a clear understanding of the materials and methods involved.
