Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Book Club comes to THE PIG-near Bath for a special afternoon of storytelling, seasonal food and conversation with bestselling author Lucy Foley.

Taking place on Wednesday 21 October 2026, the event celebrates the release of Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel, the latest Miss Marple mystery, co-authored by Lucy Foley and the estate of Agatha Christie. Guests will hear Fearne Cotton and Lucy Foley discuss the inspiration behind the novel, the return of the iconic Miss Marple and the stories behind the pages, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

The afternoon begins with a Miss Marple-inspired Marasca Mystery cherry brandy cocktail, a glass of fizz and Piggy Bits before the book club conversation gets underway. Guests will then enjoy a hearty two-course PIG lunch accompanied by specially paired wines.

Before the event finishes, there will also be an opportunity to purchase Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel, alongside a selection of books by Lucy Foley and Fearne Cotton supplied by Toppings Bookshop, and have copies signed.

The event takes place from 12.30pm to approximately 4.15pm, with lunch served at 2pm. Tickets cost £110 per person and include the welcome cocktail, Piggy Bits, a glass of fizz, two-course lunch and paired wine.

This is an adults-only event for guests aged 18 and over. Seating will be arranged on sociable shared tables, and dietary requirements can be accommodated when provided in advance.
