About

Figurative artist Charlotte Latham presents The Climb, a solo exhibition exploring the human form through expressive, large-scale paintings. Drawing inspiration from Renaissance masters, Greek mythology and contemporary figurative art, Charlotte's work has evolved from traditional life drawing and charcoal studies towards a freer, more instinctive approach. Rich layers of colour, flesh tones and increasingly abstract figures explore the relationship between beauty, vulnerability and the darker complexities of human nature. Developed during her time at Bath Artists' Studios, this new body of work marks an exciting shift in her artistic practice.
