About
All are invited to close the year with a joyous, songful celebration of life and hope. This is a public event for all ages.
Voices for Life community choir, Shoescombe Church School and Newbridge Primary School will perform on the night.
Attendees will also hear from the Alongside team about how the charity has helped support and transform lives.
Alongside is the new name for Julian House. For almost 40 years, the charity has worked alongside people experiencing homelessness, abuse, trauma, addiction and other forms of social exclusion across the South West. Founded in Bath, Alongside continues to support people through outreach services, accommodation and practical support, including its emergency hostel and new Day Centre in the city.
This Christmas, someone in the community may be facing homelessness, abuse or crisis, alone, frightened and unsure where to turn.
But support can help change their story.
By standing alongside someone this festive season, supporters can help provide safety, warmth and support when it is needed most. Whether it's helping someone move from the streets into secure accommodation or supporting a person escaping abuse to find refuge and protection, kindness can be the moment everything begins to change.
And the impact won't end there. Support helps people rebuild confidence, regain independence and create a safer, more stable future. It can be the reason someone feels seen, supported and hopeful again.
All are welcome to join the celebration on 10 December at 7pm for an evening of celebratory song.
