Bath Young Musician of the Year takes place in the impressive setting of the Banqueting Room in Bath's historic Guildhall. Once again, a group of high achieving and talented young local musicians promise an evening of outstanding performances.

This prestigious annual event is always a much-anticipated part of Bath's musical scene and the Mid-Somerset Festival takes great pride in knowing that many competitors over the years have gone on to enjoy successful musical careers.

The five young performers taking part are: Jay Finer: cello, Arbel Rix: cello, Lisa Wang: piano, Jacob Wells-Luttrell: guitar, Matthew Wise: saxophone.
