A romantic and magical medley of Christmas music from some of the most celebrated composers of the 20th Century

This evening's concert celebrates Christmas folklore and tradition with musical wit and sparkle.

St Nicolas
A shipwreck, a storm and a miracle of resurrection all feature in Britten's dramatic cantata on the life of St. Nicolas – the 'original' Santa Claus. Listen out for the 'pickled boys'!
