How to Solve (Almost) Everything with Container Gardening With Ann Treneman

Many people see a pot as somehow not "real" gardening, but a container planting revolution is already well under way in Britain and is only going to get more important with climate change. Ann Treneman gives an overview of why container planting is a must-have in urban settings, creating combinations that are not only beautiful but also boost our wellbeing while combatting global warming. She will offer 10 wild plant "cures" that would have featured in historic gardens and investigates which of these would still be planted today.

Ann Treneman is a journalist, author and designer who is the gardening columnist for The Times. She was awarded a RHS Silver-Gilt and won the People's Choice aware for her Wild Kitchen Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2022 (Container category). Her books include RHS Greener Gardening: Containers and Horti-Curious: A Gardener's Miscellany of Fascinating Facts and Remarkable Plants. Her new book: The Garden Cure: 100 Remarkable Remedies for the Curious Gardener is published on October the 8th by Mitchell Beazley.
