About

The Bell Inn are lucky to have scored this one: the King here has been at the top of the game in his native Ghana for 20 years now, and his frequent forays into the rest of the world have made him a welcome guest on every continent bar Antartica.

He sings in Frafra, Twi, and his local Pidgin, he plays the very rootsy two-string Kologo, has an astonishing range of different voices for different effects, and his rhythms are insistent and entrancing – qualities which are much in demand with European and American producers and collaborators. Traditional Music dug up in the Future' says the management, come find out how.
