About

Following the incredible success of the first RHS Badminton Flower Show, Badminton Estate is delighted to open the private gardens of Badminton House for its Late Summer Open Garden Day on Sunday 6th September.

Whether visitors enjoyed the gardens during the RHS Flower Show or missed the opportunity to explore them, this special open day offers the chance to experience the gardens in a more relaxed setting.

Home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort, the historic gardens and Walled Garden will be at their late-summer peak, bursting with vibrant dahlias, colourful herbaceous borders and an abundance of seasonal planting.

The Estate's gardening team will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions, share expert horticultural advice and offer a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the care and development of these beautiful private gardens.

Visitors can also enjoy 'A Garden of Botanical Art' exhibition in the Old Hall, an exhibition showcasing paintings from the collection of Mary Somerset, First Duchess of Beaufort.

A selection of local stallholders will be selling plants, gardening gifts and tools, while a variety of food and drink will be available throughout the day. The Old Kitchen Café will be serving tea, coffee, homemade cakes and traditional cream teas.

Opening Times: 10.00am–4.00pm (last entry 3.00pm).

Guide Prices

Adults: £12.00
