We might claim part responsibility for encouraging a younger David Moss to move down southwest from the Yorkshire coast: there are still fond memories of his Incredible String Band-ish trio Banoffi who used to cause much folk-based chaos. Light Garden is a deeper proposition but retains a playful sense of humour and of jollying the gig along, amid the overtone singing, multi-instrumentalism and still more exploration.

Life and the Universe have put obstacles in their way more recently, but this will be a trio line up and they won't have stopped generating new music. It is a lovely thing.
