About

Mr B's couldn't be more excited to welcome the wonderful Alix E. Harrow, to Bath for the release of her new book, The Slantwise Histories.

Alix E. Harrow is the author of many of our team's favourites, including The Ten Thousand Doors of January, The Once and Future Witches and most recently, The Everlasting, which will publish in paperback this October. Now Alix returns with a fantastical collection of stories old and new: tales about tricksters and ghosts, ordinary magic and mundane spectacle, all in the tradition of Angela Carter, Anne Sexton and Carmen Maria Machado.

Alix will be in conversation with Tasha Suri, award-winning author of Empire of Sand, The Jasmine Throne, and more recently The Isle in the Silver Sea.
