About
Visitors can enjoy an afternoon of creative leaf printing at this historic Bath venue, learning how to select suitable leaves and prepare them for printing using a heat press.
The workshop begins with preparing the leaves and backgrounds in the morning. After lunch, participants will use the prepared materials to create beautiful and often surprising designs printed onto fabric.
Artist Clare Walsh will guide participants through the process, sharing practical techniques and explaining the connection between leaf printing and Georgian fashion.
This relaxed and welcoming workshop is suitable for all abilities, with all materials provided. Tea and coffee will also be available throughout the day.
The workshop is suitable for participants aged 16 and over. Anyone with access requirements is encouraged to let the organisers know in advance so that appropriate support can be provided.
