About

Head to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum for a day of family fun this October half-term and hear the brand-new Gruffalo story from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. There's also a visit from The Gruffalo!

Gruffalo Granny storytelling sessions and Gruffalo appearances will be at intervals throughout the day, so remember your camera for that all-important selfie!

What's happening

• Gruffalo Granny storytelling at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm.
• Meet-and-greet with The Gruffalo at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
• Get creative at the colouring stations.
• Copies of 'Gruffalo Granny' by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler will be available to buy at the event too. Can't wait? Get your copy of the book from the Westonbirt Shop when you next visit!

There's no need to book - just turn up and enjoy the fun. Storytelling sessions and meet-and-greets are on a first-come, first-served basis and may get busy, so arrive early to avoid missing out.
