A plate of food at Beckford Canteen

About

Beckford Canteen is a modern British restaurant offering beautifully and carefully created dishes alongside an eclectic wine list sourced from their wine shop the Beckford Bottle Shop on Saville Row.

They source the highest quality local ingredients and prepare them using traditional culinary techniques to create a menu of recognisable favourites, served at their best.

Designed within a former Georgian greenhouse on bustling Bartlett Street in the middle of Bath, the restaurant offers a light and airy space bedecked with banquettes, leather-clad dining chairs and window countertops to watch the world go by.

In the summer, the garden and terrace are lovely suntraps - the perfect spot for a quick, tasty bite or an early evening drink.

Visit for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday or stop by for Sunday Lunch. While reservations are available for their main restaurant tables, they always keep space for spontaneous visits, so feel free to pop your head around the door and they will do their best to look after you.
