Ever dreamed of being an archaeologist? Now's your chance!

Let's be archaeologists and examine the Roman remains at The Roman Baths. Dig for replica Roman artefacts in our special excavation trench and learn how to identify, record, and uncover hidden treasures—just like a real archaeologist.

Archaeology Adventures is a special add-on to your visit to The Roman Baths.

Please note:
• You'll need both a Roman Baths admission ticket and a separate ticket for the Archaeology Adventure session.
• To ensure you arrive at the Great Bath in time for your session, please book your museum entry at least one hour before your Archaeology Adventure begins.
• Meet the Roman Baths Learning Team by the Great Bath at the start of your session.
• After your Archaeology Adventure, you're welcome to re-enter the museum and continue exploring.
• Recommended for children aged 6–12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Spaces are limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Sessions available at 11am and 12pm Monday to Friday between 23 July - 28 August.

£6 per child in addition to entrance to The Roman Baths.
