About

Visitors to the Herschel Museum of Astronomy will have the opportunity to take part in evening astronomy with the Bath Astronomers on the anniversary of William Herschel's 288th birthday, from the garden where he discovered the planet Uranus in 1781.

Please note: This event will go ahead even if the weather does not permit observing, as the museum will be open to explore, with tours provided by museum staff.

The Herschel Museum of Astronomy is located across three floors of an 18th-century Grade-listed townhouse, with access to the first floor and basement/garden by stairs only.
