About

Make the Roman Baths your go-to family destination for adventure, discovery and unforgettable memories this October Half Term.

Can you stomach the strange and surprising world of Roman medicine?
This October half term, families can become Roman doctors-in-training at The Roman Baths with Eew! Revolting Roman Remedies, a brand-new family adventure packed with gruesome cures, fascinating stories and hands-on fun.

Pick up a free trail and help a series of Roman patients by matching their ailments to some truly revolting remedies. Along the way, discover how Romans used everything from herbs and plants to ingredients that might make modern visitors squirm.

Families can also meet a Roman doctor, take part in Roman remedy-making activities and explore one of Britain's most remarkable historic sites. On 31 October, enjoy a special Halloween Scraptastic craft event with Children's Scrapstore Bristol (£5 per child).
