About

Emma Cline, author of the bestselling sensation The Girls, as well as shop favourites Daddy and The Guest, will be joining Mr B's for an event in Bath this September to discuss her brilliant new novel, Switzy.

A mesmerising portrait of an ageing man's last pilgrimage, Switzy showcases Emma as a truly dazzling and ambitious talent – but don't just take Mr B's word for it, as it has already been longlisted for the 2026 Booker Prize!

Of Switzy, the Booker Prize judging panel says: "Cline writes vividly about the trappings of the elite – the private jets, the heirloom watches – as well as their sad social cost in a story that feels immersive, elegiac, and very real."
