With an established background in ceramics and sculpture, both as a maker and educator spanning over 40 years, Alma Boyes will be discussing her ceramic and bronze work alongside her work as an enlarger at the Morris Singer Foundry, producing monumental sculptures for prominent 20th century artists such as Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, Bob Clatworthy and William Timym MBE.

The talk will give insights into inspiration, working in collaboration, interpretation in the enlargement process, stages of making and working at scale.
