About

Through the centuries, many well known figures have had a special connection with scent.

This free interactive Scent Event, from perfumers Parterre, invites you to explore 10 fragrance compositions and some fascinating stories, inspired by famous personalities of the past.

From the sails of Cleopatra's ship that were doused in her perfume, to the cologne Napoleon kept in his boot during battles. And of course the lavender and rose waters of Regency times.

If you would like to see how perfume has developed over the last 2000 years, then please come along ... and be prepared to sniff!

Free entry.
