About

Join this fun, free 6km guided hike around beautiful Bath – perfect for a relaxing day out with like-minded people!

Starting at Bath Spa railway station, this walk crosses the River Avon via Halfpenny Bridge and winds through the village-like streets of Widcombe. From there, it climbs to Alexandra Park, offering sweeping views over Bath's iconic golden skyline.

The route continues through quiet, leafy lanes and the peaceful grounds of St Thomas à Becket Church, before joining the tranquil Kennet and Avon Canal, where narrowboats and wildlife add to the charm. You'll then pass through Sydney Gardens, including The Holburne Museum, and follow the grand Great Pulteney Street, crossing Pulteney Bridge to finish beside Bath Abbey at The Architect — a perfect spot to relax and soak in the historic surroundings.

Tickets
