About

Peter Colley's 'I'll Be Back Before Midnight' is a suspense thriller centred on Jan Sanderson, a young woman recovering from a nervous breakdown.

Hoping for peace and recovery, Jan and her husband Greg move to an isolated farmhouse in the countryside. However, their landlord, George, enjoys terrifying her with stories of murder and ghosts linked to the house.

Tension escalates when Greg's manipulative sister Laura arrives, and Jan begins experiencing strange noises, frightening visions, and mysterious disappearances. As her mental state becomes increasingly fragile, Jan struggles to determine whether the haunting events are real or part of her imagination.

Filled with twists, psychological tension, dark humour, and shocking revelations, the play builds towards a dramatic climax that keeps audiences questioning who can truly be trusted.
