About

The Museum of East Asian Art is hosting a new Mahjong Club in its galleries, in collaboration with Milk Tea Mahjong. Sessions will take place on the first Tuesday of each month.

No previous Mahjong experience is required. The sessions are open to anyone with a curious attitude and an interest in this classic game of skill, strategy and luck. Milk Tea Mahjong welcomes beginners and will introduce participants to the rules and basics of the game.

Guests can enjoy tea, biscuits and good company while playing Mahjong in the unique surroundings of the Museum.

The first sessions are available at a discounted price of £7.50, providing an opportunity for newcomers to try Mahjong and get to know the group.

Tickets also include access to the Museum and its current exhibitions, including Reimaginings.

Pre-booking is recommended and necessary to guarantee a place. Some tickets may be available on the day, but this is not guaranteed.

For further information, guests can contact the Museum or Milk Tea Mahjong at milkteamahjong@gmail.com.
