About

Reel Life Monsters are back with a bang! At No. 1 Royal Crescent, on June 23rd, they'll be teaming up with Queer Bath and Queer Vision to bring you a one-of-a-kind double bill celebrating Mary Shelley's ongoing influence on the world of horror: Re-animator and Frankenhooker. The RLM team loves Frankenstein in every single one of its forms, so as you might expect they're beyond excited to watch these films with you all, particularly as the book was originally written in Bath!
The double bill will be introduced by Jays Hawke, RLM's resident Frankenstein expert, and will be followed by a short panel on the LGBTQ+ themes in Frankenstein adaptations with Jays, RLM's founder Sal, and Queer Vision's Harriet Taylor.
Doors open at 5pm, with the introduction starting at 5.20pm. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible bathroom. Parking is available within a 5-10 minute walking distance. Both films will have descriptive subtitles. If you are sensitive to loud noises then the RLM team would recommend that you bring some form of ear protection.
