About
Riverside Ramble Tree Walk
Discover some of Bath’s fascinating urban trees on the Riverside Ramble Tree Walk, a guided walk through central Bath and along the River Avon.
Following one of the Bath Urban Treescape Trails, the walk explores the variety of native and exotic trees hiding in plain sight among Bath’s magnificent architecture. The walk will be led by Robin Barnes, Westonbirt Guide and tree enthusiast, who will share insights into the trees found along the route.
Starting outside Green Park Station, the walk meanders through Bath city centre and alongside the River Avon. The route covers approximately one and a half miles and is mainly flat and on pavements, although there are a couple of sets of steps.
Assistant dogs and dogs kept under close control are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and any foraging undertaken by participants is at their own risk.
