About

The Argyle String Orchestra Winter Concert at St Luke's Church

As the days grow shorter and the evenings draw in, St Luke's Church in Bath hosts an inspiring winter concert by the Argyle String Orchestra, celebrating the colour, drama and beauty of orchestral music.

From the hauntingly beautiful melodies of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings to the lively, foot-tapping energy of Aaron Copland's Hoe-Down, this varied programme has something for everyone. Audiences can enjoy the elegance of Vivaldi, the evocative landscapes of Grieg and the rich, expressive music of Frank Bridge in a concert that promises both moving moments and exhilarating rhythms.

The Argyle String Orchestra Winter Concert offers an evening of wonderful live classical music in Bath, welcoming the changing seasons in style.

As usual, tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes will be available during the interval.
