Emberwood Wine Evenings with Vins-Clairs
Emberwood presents a series of intimate wine evenings, bringing together limited numbers of guests, the warmth of the hearth, exceptional wines, and seasonal cooking in a setting that is both relaxed and refined.
Hosted in the snug, this special evening pairs the fire-led autumn cooking of Executive Head Chef David Hazell with an exceptional selection of Rhône Valley wines curated by Master Sommelier Claire Thevenot. Celebrating one of France’s most beloved wine regions, the evening shines a light on the bold and restless new generation of winemakers redefining the Rhône.
Designed for a limited number of guests, the experience explores how young vignerons are breathing new life into ancient grape varieties, farming with conviction, and challenging perceptions of what this storied valley can be. Each wine is thoughtfully paired with David’s seasonal dishes from the hearth, creating a dialogue between plate and glass.
Relaxed in spirit yet serious about wine, the evening offers guided tastings, engaging conversation, and a deeper appreciation of a region in evolution.
