The Railspikes bring their acoustic roots sound to the bar. Slide guitar, banjo and mandolin fused with a deep, dark bull fiddle- the kind of music that has you weeping into your beer or staring out at a passing train.

This isn't a covers band. The Railspikes cover it all, songs steeped in heartbreak, sorrow, lost love, drinking and murder, gathered up from the rails and dusty roads of some forgotten land.

Drawing on the Severn Estuary as much as the Appalachians, the trio brings together key members of Bath's Cheaterslicks, the Rimshots and The Rhythmslicks for an evening of home-hewn originals and traditional American folk.
