About

Newly opened in the heart of Bath, Osteria Partenopea brings the warmth, flavour and generous spirit of Naples to Upper Borough Walls.

Led by Neapolitan-born restaurateurs Valeria Casolaro and Costantino Turco, this family-inspired osteria celebrates time-honoured recipes, exceptional Italian produce and the best seasonal ingredients from closer to home. Begin with vibrant starters, including paccheri fritti, before exploring dishes such as seafood scialatielli, slow-cooked Neapolitan lasagna, grilled fish and meats, and homemade desserts including tiramisu.

Start with a classic aperitivo before exploring an extensive Italian wine list and creative cocktails. Sundays are for comforting food shared with family and friends, with highlights including Neapolitan ragu and their Italian take on the traditional Sunday roast featuring a generous mix of porchetta, chicken, Italian sausage and medium-rare onglet steak, alongside other dishes from the menu.

And don’t miss Aperi-Tea: a playful meeting of British afternoon tea and Italian aperitivo, perfect for a leisurely afternoon with friends.

Open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, Osteria Partenopea also has a tucked-away courtyard terrace – a hidden oasis in the heart of Bath, ideal for lingering over lunch, drinks or an aperitivo.
