About

Show of Strength's Frankenstein in Bath walking tour traces Mary Shelley’s footsteps as she wrote her gothic masterpiece in the city in the autumn and winter of 1816/17. It also reveals the real-life disasters that unfolded all around her.

Frankenstein in Bath takes you to the places where this forgotten story happened: where Mary Shelley lived, where she wrote, and where she kept her dark secrets.

The popular tour, which won Best Live Performance at the 2017 Creative Bath Awards, lasts approximately 90 minutes.
